Recruitment Scams and How to Protect Yourself

There has been a recent increase in recruitment scams in Switzerland. We take this very seriously and are doing our best to solve this. The current scams are text messages (all platforms including facebook) offering employment, sent from somebody pretending to work for the Nordwand Group. Please note, we have not had a data breach and all reported cases have been from people with whom we have no connection and no data.

The following points can help you ensure you are dealing with an actual employee of the Nordwand Group:

  • We only make first contact with candidates and clients using email, employment social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn) and/or by calling (not texting) from Swiss landlines and mobiles. Please note, we never make first contact via SMS, Facebook Messenger, Signal, WhatsApp or Telegram or any other platform. We will only contact you using texts (SMS or Whatsapp) is we already have a working relationship with you.

  • Names and functions of our team can be found at About us > Team. If you are in any doubt, please call us on +41 44 533 06 00 and ask to speak to the person who has contacted you or otherwise send us a message through our contact form.

  • We never collect sensitive financial information (credit cards numbers etc.) or request fees for our services. We never give any guarantees of employment or income.

  • If you experience poorly spelled, poorly formatted, confusing or suspicious content this is a strong sign of fraudulent activity.
