Kimon in his role as Manager acts as the link between our customers and the technical candidates he identifies.

He brings together different areas of interest and was previously, with an international recruiter, in two different positions in the IT environment. As a Research Consultant, he was responsible for the recruitment and candidate care (Interviewing, assessments). As a development of that role he took over, as Senior Recruitment Consultant, additionally the responsibility for customer management, where he is today and can call himself a Manager.

In his spare time, Kimon Abderhalden is always looking for good restaurants and unwinds with a healthy mix of sports and a glass of red wine.

Mein Kunde ist ein renommierter Immobiliendienstleister in Zürich und entwickelt gerade seine hauseigene Plattform weiter. In diesem Kontext wollen wir das bestehenden Team ausbauen und dabei auf neuartige und performante Software-Lösungen bauen.

 

Diese Aufgaben erwarten dich:

  • Du wirst an der Planung, Entwicklung und Optimierung von Backend-Systemen arbeiten, die auf Ruby on Rails basieren.
  • Mit deinem technischen Wissen trägst du zur Architektur und zum Design neuer Funktionen und Services bei.
  • Du integrierst externe Systeme über REST APIs oder andere Schnittstellen und arbeitest an der kontinuierlichen Verbesserung unserer Datenbanken und Backend-Services.
  • Code Reviews & Tests: Du beteiligst dich aktiv an Code Reviews, Unit Tests und der Sicherstellung hoher Codequalität.
  • Sorgfältige und strukturierte Dokumentation der entwickelten Lösungen und der verwendeten Technologien.
  • Du arbeitest eng mit unseren Product Managern, UX/UI-Designern und anderen Entwicklern in einem agilen, Scrum-basierten Umfeld zusammen.

 

Dieses Profil bringst du mit:

  • Mindestens 4 Jahre praktische Erfahrung mit Ruby on Rails in professionellen Projekten.
  • Umfangreiche Kenntnisse in Ruby on Rails, RESTful APIs, MySQL/PostgreSQL, und idealerweise auch in Frontend-Technologien wie JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
  • Erfahrung mit Docker, Kubernetes und Continuous Integration/Delivery ist ein Plus.
  • Fundierte Kenntnisse in der Arbeit mit relationalen Datenbanken und Erfahrung in der Optimierung von SQL-Queries.
  • Sicherer Umgang mit Git und Git-basierten Workflows.
  • Tests & Qualität: Erfahrung mit Unit Tests, Integrationstests und Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Fliessende Deutsch- und gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.
