Martin is a Senior Manager looking after IT permanent placement at both professional and executive level. Through his many years of experience, he successfully supports and advises corporate groups and SMEs in all recruitment matters.
Martin previously worked in Human Resources at Credit Suisse leading the IT Talent Acquisition unit. Prior to that, he worked for several years as Team Leader Permanent Placement at one of the largest IT recruitment companies in Europe. His broad knowledge and in-depth expertise enable him to coach candidates throughout the entire application process and actively support clients in recruiting qualified specialists and managers and leaders.
Martin has undertaken trekking tours in Tibet and Nepal but is currently more likely to be found with his family on ski slopes, hut hikes or on a via ferrata in Switzerland.
Unsere Mandantin ist ein Schweizer Anbieter von lokalen Datacenterlösungen- und Managed-Services. Im exklusiven Auftrag suchen wir einen erfahrenen System Engineer, welche die technische Leitung der Datacenter Infrastruktur innehat.
Als Lead System Engineer übernehmen Sie eine Schlüsselrolle in der fachlichen Führung und der Weiterentwicklung der beiden Datacenter unseres Kunden.
Ihre Aufgaben
- Fachliche Leitung des Datacenter-Bereichs mit Verantwortung für Betrieb, Stabilität und Weiterentwicklung der gesamten IT-Infrastruktur.
- Führung und fachliche Begleitung des Engineering Teams.
- Planung, Aufbau und Unterhalt der Datacenter-Infrastruktur in den Bereichen Netzwerk, Server, Virtualisierung, Storage und Backup.
- Strategische Weiterentwicklung der Netzwerkinfrastruktur mit Fokus auf Routing, Switching und Segmentierung.
- Koordination und Unterstützung des Projektteams bei der Implementierung von Kundeninfrastrukturen und deren Verbindung mit lokaler Infrastruktur.
Ihr Profil
- Abgeschlossene Informatik-Ausbildung auf Stufe Bachelor / Master oder alternativ als Informatiker EFZ.
- Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung als Senior System Engineer im Bereich Windows Server (mindestens 8 Jahre berufliche Erfahrung).
- Fundiertes Fachwissen in VMware (mindestens 8 Jahre berufliche Erfahrung), NSX, vSAN und vCloud Director.
- Erfahrung mit Netzwerkarchitekturen inkl. Switching, Routing, TCP/IP, BGP und VLAN ist ein grosses Plus.
- Freude daran, technische Verantwortung zu übernehmen und Teams fachlich zu führen.
- Fliessende Deutschkenntnisse auf Stufe Muttersprache sind ein Muss.
